Always clean and much appreciated. Great place to stretch the legs and admire beautiful scenery... if you like Pokémon Go like me there are 2 stops and a gym! I like to get out and walk the sidewalk paths, catch a few Pokémon and then head on down the road!
I love parking my car here and then taking the trail down to the beach.... the perfect place to jump in the Kayaks or sit and enjoy a campfire. There are several tables and grills for those wanting to cook out.
Lots of parking for both cars and trailers, boat launch too! There's a beach, but there are lots of rocks and the waters a little cold. Big bathrooms, tons of shade and multiple picnic tables.
This is a basic rest area taken care of real well. It's cute and clean. no machines of any kind. Plenty of picnic tables along the river, including a handicap picnic table (see pics).
I didn't try the restroom, but the park has some nice looking amenities--picnic tables, restrooms, historic interpretive info, boat launch . . .
