Urban Rrasoi - Cutler Bay

This is my favorite Indian spot in Dade County. I love that they will adjust the spicy level to your liking. Their mango lassi is delicious. Their garlic naan is the best I've ever had. The garlic flavor is just right and the melted butter on the crispy naan makes it the right texture to scoop up my butter chicken with. The restaurant is on the smaller side with 10 tables and dinner time can get busy, but its so worth it. The restaurant is decorated beautifully and its clean. It feels and tastes authentic. The service is polite, fast, and helpful. Definitely worth the drive.

A Memorable Celebration with Exceptional Cuisine at Urban Rrasoi. Today I had the privilege of sponsoring a special celebratory lunch at Urban Rrasoi to honor respected community leaders, including Dr. Awtar Krishan Ganju, Co-Founder of the Kashmir Discussion Forum (USA). The experience was truly delightful. We enjoyed an excellent spread that included Tandoori Chicken Kabab, Lamb and Goat Curry, Kadai Paneer, Chicken Tikka Masala, and a variety of flavorful vegetarian dishes — each prepared with authentic taste and outstanding quality. From the warm welcome to the attentive service and inviting ambiance, everything reflected genuine hospitality and care. My son invited me here for lunch, he loves this place so I gave it a go. The food was fresh and worth the try. Cozy place, Indian music plays in the background. Cute decoration. I'm normally not a Curry fan, but it was mild and smooth to the taste. I enjoyed the experience.

The food here is excellent and consistently high quality. We really appreciated that they customized our order exactly to our liking, especially by honoring our request for less oil and butter. During our trip to Miami, we ended up visiting Urban Rasoi (and their other location) three times because it was so good. Highly recommended—definitely give them a try!

I love this place, the food is always delicious!! Some of my favorites are the butter chicken, samosas, Gobi Manchurian, garlic naan.. and the list goes on!!! Only disappointment has been the customer service when the usual staff members (owners, I think) are not there. This past Sunday, I ordered takeout and was told 20 minutes. I arrived 25 minutes later, and they asked me to wait 5 more.. after 10 minutes, they said it would be an additional 5. Overall, I got my order after 55 minutes. The guy working in the front had little-to-no remorse, and didn’t apologize a single time. People like this are the ones to ruin such amazing organizations. Hope they realize this soon. Nonetheless, I will be back because the food (and usual employees) are awesome!
