This Mediterranean scratch kitchen is an absolute gem! Every dish has flavors that are vibrant, authentic, and beautifully presented. The service is just as incredible as the food. Heba was attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. What really makes this place special is the owner/chef (Dean Waziry). His love and passion for his craft shows through in every plate that leaves the kitchen. He clearly cares deeply about both his food and his guests’ experience. He stopped by our table several times to check on us. It’s rare to find a restaurant where both the cuisine and the hospitality feel this heartfelt. We’ll absolutely be back — highly recommend to anyone looking for outstanding Mediterranean food made with soul!

Urban Fraiche is a true gem in Phoenix! It’s rare to find a place so committed to health, no oils, no artificial sweeteners, and no sugar, yet the food is incredibly flavorful. I had the eggplant spaghetti and it was delicious, while my colleagues thoroughly enjoyed their dishes. We also treated ourselves to their Turkish coffee, baklava, and the Syrian rice pudding which was absolutely amazing and a must-try! To top it off, having a fresh coconut on a warm afternoon was such a treat. The service was top-notch; our server was so attentive, and the Chef Dean Waziri personally came out to explain the menu, which made us feel so welcome. We came in for a birthday party and had the most amazing experience. We were warmly greeted as we arrived and given crowns to put on along with the birthday girl. Our drinks came out quickly and were all very delicious. We started off with a handful of appetizers which included the Turkish meatballs, Grilled octopus, filet mignon kebab and the lobster ravioli. The flavors were absolutely amazing. For dinner I had the Braised curry goat, and lentil soup and I would highly recommend both! And for dessert, we had the rice pudding, baklava, apple pie, and pumpkin pie. I would say the apple pie and rice pudding were my favorite out of all four. Definitely a wonderful birthday experience. This place is 💯 everything was fantastic, including the food, service, entertainment (belly dancer) and decoration! We had dinner out in the beautiful patio filled with interesting and eccentric decor. We ordered the goat curry and braised lamb shoulder entree, and MY GOD, it was a culinary experience ✨The meat was extremely tender, and the side dishes was carefully considered to compliment the main dish. This place deserves to at least be on the Michelin guide. In addition, the menu changes daily, depending on what kind of fresh ingredients that the chec can get that day. The chef is multiple Michelin award winner, and the entire menu is filled with organic and delicious dishes. Definitely a gem!!!!!
