Last day in Baltimore and we wanted to try a local deli sandwich. we are in Baltimore celebrating a anniversary and a birthday and came across this spot and I’m so glad we tried it! Beautiful neighborhood, nice little outside tables to sit at and people watch, people were so nice, and the sandwiches we got were amazing!
Cute spot! Had a breakfast bagel sandwich and coffee. It was amazing! Not too much seating inside (one table for two and a bar with four stools) this was winter time so no outdoor seating available. I will definitely be back!
Urban Deli: Overall - 8.5/10 Most things on the menu are good. Solid lunch place. Fairly cheap with a decent selection. More of a quick bite spot than a sit-down, just a heads up. I eat here for lunch at least once every other week and it does the job. The Food - 8.5/10: It’s all pretty good. Some of the stuff is fresh, some of the stuff isn’t but that's okay. This is more of a lunch or grab-and-go place so my standard for what I expect falls within that range for comparable places. I would say the food is above average for the shop style, quick bites, place this is. That is why I come back so much. Solid portions, Great wraps/bread options, and fresh veggies. Was in Baltimore for the day and craving a good sandwich for lunch. Like the kind of sandwich it doesn’t make sense to make at home because you’d have to buy too many ingredients that would go bad before you used them all up. Found Urban Deli from Yelp and it was walkable from where I was staying so I came. Cute little shop decorated primarily with photos of neighborhood dogs. Was greeted upon entering and chose the Turkey club for my meal. DELICIOUS!! Best sandwich ever!! And a very large portion. Ate half in the shop at a little bar by the window and saved the second half for later. I will come back if I’m ever in Baltimore again.
Food is amazing. Bagel was delicious. Coffee good. Pictures of adorable dogs on wall makes it fun to be at.
