UPTOWN SOUL FOOD DINER

My Husband and I stopped here for lunch and it did not disappoint! Katie was very helpful and gave us her opinions on some items to try and had great customer service! Every bit of what we had was scrumptious! We're suckers for good soul food and the amount of food that you get is great for the price! We live in the next big town over, but we'll be traveling to Columbia just to come back and eat here again!

I loved this place. I didn't know it existed until yesterday. Very relaxing seating and awesome customer service. The food was great, and pricing was very reasonable. Our portions of food were a very nice size, I'll be returning next time I come to Columbia.

Delicious food, great service, love the dining room. We had the lobster mac and cheese, fried chicken, potato salad, cabbage, and hamburger steak all absolutely delicious!

When we entered the building, no one spoke. We walked to the counter & the lady taking the order wasn’t friendly at all. When I asked questions, it seemed like I annoyed her somewhat. After feeling kinda uncomfortable & rushed, I ended up ordering a 15 piece hot lemon pepper wings, extra crispy w extra lemon pepper seasoning. My partner ordered a double bacon cheese burger with chili cheese fries. We both had lemonade. For some reason, I received golden, crispy fried chicken wings sprinkled w lemon pepper seasoning. My partner had nacho cheese on his burger & fries which he was very unsatisfied w. He also stated that his food was cold. My food, even though it wasn’t what I ordered, was a pleasant surprise to be honest lol they were fried to perfection & seasoned well. Fresh out the grease,

Excellent food and friendly service in downtown Columbia. We are so happy we found this place and would definitely come back again. Wonderful down home food!
