Uptown Sandwiches

Before I say anything, I wanna say this - I’d drive here from Worcester for a sandwich after the one I just had. I seriously can’t wait to come back. I didn’t even finish what I was eating before I started on this review. I had to pause and finish my sandwich beside it was just so good. When I first walked in, I was immediately taken back to the pizzerias of my youth in New Jersey. This place hasn’t been updated in years. Now that can be good or bad. Those gem grub spots tend to be stuck in the past. Based on this, out of an abundance of caution and lack of familiarity, I did not go with my typical sandwich order, and detoured to my back up. I placed a phone order for a steak and cheese BLT with turkey and a side of loaded fries. I was really excited to try this place for the first time since the reviews are great and people say it’s one of the best around. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t quite match the hype. When I got to my steak and cheese, there was barely any cheese at all, which was pretty disappointing. I was hoping for something really flavorful, but it just didn’t deliver. The loaded fries were fine, but overall the meal wasn’t what I expected. I might give this place another try in the future, but not anytime soon—and I definitely won’t be ordering the steak and cheese again

Absolutely incredible. Probably my new top favorite sandwich place. The flavor was great & the sandwiches were noticeably fresh. ❤️

One of the best places for a fresh sub! Everytime I come here I have never had a bad meal. I feel like all the ingredients are fresh and tastes good!

I unfortunately had to call my order in last minute, and I felt so bad about it. The staff was still kind and reassuring, and they cashed me out with a warm smile and some laughs. I've eaten there before (Though it's the italian grinder for me) and you get a well packed sandwich. I will happily return here again for another grinder, especially after a long work shift.
