Upper Skagit Library

What an amazing little library! Its very hard nowadays to find third spaces that are actually free and it was great to see this place filled with people when I was here. They have a teens section with free snacks and some consoles, numerous chargers, and a coffee station. They have a bunch of new releases for books and a ton of physical media as well. I wish more libraries took the same approach as this one.

I live in concrete with a poor family. Love the freedge and teen room. Also a kids room. Staff are always very caring and kind. Clean bathroom. Not like a normal library. Great hangout/meetup spot. You are actually allowed to talk. Overall I love this place and try to come everyday.

I play dnd here in the teen room. The staff are exceptionally nice, the people there usually are too. Protection of children is really important there. I also love being able to make tea and what not with their little food n drink station by the Freedge. Chaz is my favorite person there. She's hilarious and plays in our dnd campaign. They encourage teamwork and social skills. If something doesn't work out, we get to talk about it without any sort of harsh judgement. It really feels like one big family there. Plus, if you have overdue books, they're super sweet about it. I love these guys so much!!

This library is welcoming to all! Every staff member is incredibly friendly. They have a teens section that is cozy and fun. A kids section that has lots of activities and even sometimes some free to take home bags. They have fun weekly/monthly activities for all ages and overall such great supporters of the community alongside being such an asset themselves. This is somewhere I look forward to go and feel like I always have a place. They're a great resource hub for multiple things. There is also a section for atypical items (besides books). Such an adorable library! My close friend collects library cards so I stopped by to ask for a card. The lady at the counter was super sweet. She gave us a card and told us we could pick seeds to grow! The cutest little addition to a library I’ve ever seen. They had a teen section with bean bags and video games. Really cute place for such a small town.
