Up a Creek

First time up in the area found the lodge on Airbnb. It was great. The restaurant that was on the property. I had three great meals over three days. Staff was very friendly and helpful with this out-of-state guy answering my questions and give me tips on what to do very nice and I will be back.

It was Tuesday and on a whim we decided to drop in. We started out with the corn ribs, which was something I’ve never had before and no, it’s not ribs. It’s actually corn on the cob sliced and quarters with a aïoli maple sauce and it was amazing. I had the Cantina bowl and I have to say it was fresh and filling. My companion had the nachos and the chicken tortilla soup, which lucky for me I was able to eat for her. It wasn’t because she didn’t like it. She just doesn’t eat as much as I do. After dinner, we had the strawberry shortcake and the bananas foster both were great ways to end the meal. Sorry there were no pictures because I was so hungry from paddling. I had to consume everything and I forgot to take photographs.

Great little restaraunt in the Adirondacks! A good selection of food and drinks to choose from, along with amazing staff, make this an amazing place to check out. And of course, the food was delicious. I highly recommend Up a Creek for a great breakfast!

We have been wanting to stop here for awhile and today was a beautiful day to get outside. We ate breakfast and everything was delicious. As you can see the portions are big! Our server was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back. We also want to try dinner.

I am sorry about that! 🙏🏻 In YOUR defense, I visited on your first day back open. This was my favorite breakfast spot in this area a few years ago. 💜 Thank you to Danielle for your forever-sweet vibe, you make it so pleasant to come here. Food was good but the portions were a LOT smaller than I remember from last time, but in my defense the last time I was here was 2 years ago. I ordered the stuffed French toast, chocolate milk and a side of bacon.
