Unk's Fish & Chips

First time trying this spot and I must say 10/10. Everything I tried was delicious. Black owned restaurants. Will definitely be back. The owner let me sample his sweet potato fries with a marshmallow dipping sauce 😋 omg I'm going back just for the sweet potato fries. Go try you won't be disappointed. I got the combo with the shrimp, fish and chips with a henny cola da.

This place is awesome. My food was done in about 5 minutes, it was hot and fresh! The service was warm/pleasant and done right. They definitely had cop & go in mind with the quality of the food. I drove 20 min home and the entire meal held well! It was delicious. I will definitely be back!

I ordered the Fish & Chicken Basket at Unks Fish and Chips, and let me tell you it did NOT disappoint. The fish came out bright golden and absolutely beaming with flavor. Perfectly crisp on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside, easily some of the best fish I’ve had in a long time. The homemade tartar sauce? Elite. Fresh, flavorful, and the perfect complement to the fish. I’m already planning my return visit just thinking about it. And the sweet potato fries with marshmallow sauce were a pleasant surprise! Everything was a hit. Fresh, flavorful, and great staff. Unks Fish and Chips has officially earned a repeat customer.

The fish is always fried to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender and flaky inside—and the fries are golden and seasoned just right. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and everything tastes homemade with care. The staff is welcoming and makes you feel like family, which adds to the charm. If you’re craving classic comfort food done right, this is the spot. Highly recommend grabbing the fish sandwich too—it’s a standout! Dessert is on point! Sweet potatoes fries with marshmallow sauce is delicious too!

I think this is my new favorite fish place. I love fish and chips and this place was great for a great price. 4 fried fillets and a pile of fries with tarter sauce and a delicious custom yellow sauce they make... for $12 (Oct 2025).
