Union Beach Pier

Very clean beach and free parking when i visited. I visited and had a genuinely good time during the day. The view was beautiful, and the environment felt peaceful and relaxing. After we thought it was going to rain my friends and I were enjoying our time under a gazebo. Laughing, talking, and soaking in the vibe. But once the sun went down, things shifted. A white man approached and sat nearby, watching us. He made a phone call, and not long after, another older white man came, then a group of white teenagers. One of which was wearing a ski mask. When they started to arrive they gathered near the original man who sat near us. It didn’t feel like a coincidence. The vibe changed drastically and it felt like we were being watched or monitored, like our presence was no longer welcome once it

Stopped by while in town from out of state. Stopped to see the memorial for my cousin who we lost in Iraq. Beautiful memorials all around. Area looked clean.

Quiet and peaceful place. Downside there were no bathrooms to change. The water is not that clean, but it’s a Jersey shore, the waves are not that strong!

Great little beach with plenty of parking $2/hr) within just a few steps. The water is very shallow, great for the little ones. It's very clean, quiet atmosphere. Mostly families come here. Great when you're looking for a quick drive to the beach with no crowds.
