It has taken me far too long to share my love for my favorite ice cream shop. Located near New Albany high school its well worth a trip if you are anywhere near the area! Truly a mom & pop ice cream shop! The flavors are not only fun, but delicious too! You can pick up pints of your favorites to enjoy at home later!

My husband and I had a great experience here! Everyone was very friendly, the atmosphere was adorable, and the ice cream was delicious. My husband had the vanilla and I tried the "Exhausted Parent" (a bourbon espresso blend). This was one of the best ice creams I've had.

I’m from the dairy state of Wisconsin, so I’ve had my fair share of ice cream—but Uncommon Scoops blew me away! The flavors were rich, bold, and incredibly creative. You can taste the quality in every bite. The texture was perfectly creamy, and the service was just as sweet as the ice cream. This place easily tops anything I’ve tried back home. If you're an ice cream lover, this shop is a must-visit. Uncommon Scoops lives up to the name and then some!

My kids and grandkids introduced me to this lovely place. They had many different options that included the regulars and some really different ones like Kitty Kitty Bang Bang, The Exhausted Parent and more. They had gluten free and dairy free options as well. The atmosphere was cute and quaint. Small tables and chairs with a few games and another game area upstairs. The owners were the ones serving the ice cream and were so patient with all of our questions. The best thing, besides hanging with my family, was the ice cream. It really was delicious.

This is our family’s “go to” ice cream shop. They always have amazing flavors to try! The owners are so friendly and the atmosphere is so inviting. If you’re looking for a local ice cream shop, look no further! Once you go, you will keep going back.
