Uncle Louie G's Italian Ice & Ice Cream

One of my favorite homemade ice and ice cream place! I have been coming here for over10 years now. Place is so cute inside. Clean, bright, and colorful. Ice cream lights are adorable. Indoor and outdoor seating. Can order/sit inside to order or use the window outside. They have shakes, ice cream cakes, sundaes and all the good stuff. Great selection of ices and ice creams. Dairy and non dairy. Vanilla chip and cherry ices are my favorites. Good service too! My only complaint before was that it was cash only but that's not the case anymore :)

WE ALL SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM! This is no doubt THE BEST Italian Ice experience I’ve ever had! The flavors are on point. Sizes are generous for the price. There is definitely something for everyone with the tremendous selection of Italian Ice and Gelato! They also have soft serve! Mix it up! The store is super cute and very clean and kept. They take cash and cards! There is seating inside if you want to take a break and a to-go window if you are on the go. The cherry on top?…the awesome service! Extremely friendly, patient and expeditious. You will not be disappointed. #amazing PS they also have cakes for special occasions!!

My family & I have been coming to Uncle Louie G’s spot here in Maywood for a few years. The Italian ice & ice cream selection is really great. All flavors are good and you won’t be disappointed regardless of choice. Favorite ice cream flavor is their coconut. One of the best I’ve ever had. They take cash or credit and the service is super friendly. They also have a quick to go window in case you want to make it a fast stop.

I always go next door to the peruvian spot and I’ve noticed uncle Loui g’s multiple times before. I decided to go there with my Fiancé and 2 kids after the park, it was amazing! the Brooklyn cheesecake ice cream is insanely good! and their Italian ice tastes better than any Italian ice I’ve ever had! The staff was very welcoming and Kid friendly! We will definitely stop by again!
