Finally, authentic Chinese food in Ahwatukee! The Xiao Long Bao are excellent, and you can really taste the quality in the handmade noodles and dumplings. This is easily the best Chinese spot in the area. So glad to have these legit flavors nearby!

So glad they opened here in Ahwatukee! Lovely restaurant for an enjoyable meal. The menu has lots of pictures which helps for decision making. Our favorite dish was the beef noodle soup which was not spicy and had enough flavor in the broth without too much added salt. The green beans were nicely stir fried with lots of flavor and not being overcooked. They were good quality and very fresh. The xiao long bao was our least favorite. Way too large to eat and the meat inside was dry. It was okay though but I would not come back here just for that. Nicely decorated in a comfortable modern theme. I think it will be fun to return to try more different dishes from the menu.

The employees were so kind and the place looked very clean. This review is solely based on what I ordered. I got the Steamed Rice with Teriyaki Chicken 照烧鸡排饭 . The amount of meat they give you is a very kind portion. With that said, that kind portion I paid for , I will not be eating it. It was a mixture of dark and white meat. Nothing in description mentioned dark meat and I don't eat dark meat. The rice was a little bit mushy. Too soft for my taste so I won't be eating that as well. Beef with Green Onions(10 PCs) 牛肉青葱 I was looking forward to, however I will not be eating this dish either. The amount of grease/oil that squirted out of the dumpling was not satisfying and that's all I tasted. Scallion Pancake 葱油饼 I was really excited to order because I can't find them anywhere since livin

Visited Uncle Bao’s while in Phoenix. The atmosphere was clean and contemporary, and at first glance it felt like a place with real promise, but unfortunately the service was only okay and the food didn’t deliver. We ordered several signature dishes, including the Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings), which completely missed the mark — a large meatball with no soup defeats the entire purpose of the dish. The wontons were disappointing as well, filled with pork only instead of the more flavorful pork-and-shrimp combination. The Dan Dan noodles lacked the signature spicy, nutty, savory depth and came across as flat and flavorless. Overall, a letdown, and while they may be catering to a different clientele, anyone seeking authenticity will likely walk away disappointed unless changes are made. Salu

We came on Sunday around 2pm and it was not busy at all. We ordered the pork with chives and shrimp dumplings, the pork and cabbage dumplings, and fried cream cheese wontons. Everything was amazing, what we ordered was PLENTY for two people. I've wanted to come here for a long time and was not disappointed! Going to try the signature kurobuta pork soup dumplings next time. Give this place a try!
