This isn't fast food. Come early, enjoy the atmosphere, order beverages n edaname. Large menue (aquaint w/ it b4 you come) order entres to arrive all together or individually to share. Sashimi Salad is my fave! Enjoy!

Absolutely loved my experience at Umi Sushi in Grover Beach! The food was outstanding—each dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We tried a variety of rolls, and every single one was a delight. A special shoutout to our waitstaff, Helen, who was exceptional. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and made great recommendations that enhanced our meal. Her friendly demeanor added to the overall wonderful atmosphere of the restaurant. If you’re in the area and craving sushi, Umi Sushi is a must-visit! Can’t wait to return!

Favorite local sushi spot! Great specialty rolls, tonkatsu, tempura… Love dining on the cozy patio or in the charming dining room. Service is always friendly. Our go-to orders include: No Name #3, Coho Loco, Crispy Spicy Tuna, Salmon & Garfunkel, Montaña de Oro (the lemon makes it so good), and Palm Springs.

Mac and his staff are the best! This is the best restaurant on the Central Coast. The food is beyond description. Always fresh. Always beautiful. Always delicious. The service is top notch. They balance making sure all your needs are met and also letting you enjoy your meal. If you’re looking for delicious food, stop looking. You found it.

I’m honestly not sure what the hype is about for this place. It’s pretty small so they needed to seat us outside. Luckily, the rain had stopped. The parking lot is also very small. We asked for spoons for our miso soup and never got them. They have a kimchi sampler which was meh as was the bulgogi gyoza. So was their house salad. The sushi was good but not outstanding. Maybe this is the only real sushi option in Grover Beach? We won’t be back.
