Umami Seafood / Boiling Crab House

I had an amazing experience at Umami Restaurant! The seasonings on every dish were spot on, and the flavors were bold without being overpowering. The service was fast and friendly, especially Greta, who made sure we had everything we needed. My friend ordered the hot pot, and I had to try it—it was fantastic! We also had oysters and mussels that were out of this world—fresh and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious food and great service!

So unfortunately the food tasted great and I say unfortunately because it might have been worth the 90 dollars my wife and I spent if we didn’t end up getting sick from it. It was the only food we had that day so there’s no other reason why we feel so terrible. Currently writing this review from the bathroom as we speak…. Spare yourself and your wallet

Ordered 1lb shrimp with potatoes and corn. I received about 10 shrimp, a piece of corn that was cut in half and a potato that was cut in half. Not sure who came up with the idea of cheating people of the portions but I will not be going back to spend $19.20 on that garbage. Do better!

I was so ready to give this restaurant glowing reviews. The inside of the restaurant looks 10 times better than you would think from the outside. It was extremely clean from what i could see and it smelled good. I ordered fried shrimp, fish, and fries which ran around $11. So for this price i thought my box was going to be over flowing with food. They advertised 2 pieces of fish with the combo and i received what i would deem to be about a half a piece of fish. Yes there where two pieces of fish in the box, but anybody who knows seafood understands that this is not it. The fish also was dark around the sides, like it was reheated from a previous batch, maybe the day before. I rated them as okay, because what i was provided was tasty, however, I did not get my moneys worth at all. A

Seafood was great. Atmosphere was calm. Enjoyed my stay. Will return and recommend.
