Umai Hibachi Express

They have great food made of fresh and quality ingredients, as well as generous portions and friendly service! It's a food truck next to a building; the building is where their kitchen is located for all of their storage and prep work. As you can see in my pictures, there is a tent in front of the food truck; the tent provides shelter from any (weather) elements, while ordering or waiting for your food. There are also a few picnic tables inside although it seems 100% of their business this time of year is carry-out/to-go. I ordered the steak and chicken hibachi meal and added a small order of crab rangoon. It was a lot of food, enough for me to have 2 meals from it; great value + great quality and taste= boom!

Fast friendly and absolutely amazing food! I ordered myself lunch and went back the same day to take home dinner to the family! Definitely gonna be one of my go to spots from now on!

Highly recommend. We ordered the orange chicken with fried rice along with these 4 rolls: American Dream Roll King Kong Roll Snow Drop Roll California Roll The three fried rolls were very big and delicious. The orange chicken was crispy and full of flavor. Prices are similar to other restaurants, but the amount and flavor are better here. Highly recommended

We ordered a little bit of everything to try this place out, sushi, hibachi, damage, rolls etc. From the Salmon, Shrimp, and Chicken to the crab rangoon and sushi rolls everything was delicious. Portions were awesome too.

Umai is a small food truck offering big flavors. They are carry-out only, and there are a couple wooden benches nearby to sit at. We have had the General Tso’s, hibachi chicken and steak, teriyaki chicken, lo mein, potstickers, the rice and veggies that comes standard with the plates, and rangoons. Everything is delicious and cooked to perfection. We plan to try the sushi next. The cost-to-food portions is excellent. One of the best things to come to DeSoto is Umai! 10/10 recommend!
