Umai Asian Bistro

Tried out there all you can eat sushi menu and it didn’t disappoint. Lots of options to choose from and everything I got was really good. Would be easier if they had a check off menu that you could turn in but otherwise definitely worth checking out.

Truly an excellent restaurant. Their sushi is pretty good, and very unique and innovative. I ordered a yellowtail with jalapeño roll, and the spicy crunchy shrimp roll, to name a few. Both were delicious. They also have the best miso soup I’ve ever had. Another member of our party ordered steak hibachi and was very satisfied. It even came with the customary pieces of shrimp. It was very good and the hibachi rice was also very good. It’s not the objective highest quality food I’ve ever had in either category, but it is more than satisfactory, especially for the price. The staff was also very nice and provided excellent and attentive service. I would absolutely recommend this place!

This is a great location in kings park/SmithTown for AYCE. Sushi is fresh and their kitchen items are amazing! A must try is their Malaysian Fried Rice ! No matter what. Best fried rice on the island.

I scouted out this place to order from after hiking. I was already excited to see they had a parking lot and surprised to see it was right off of the kings park train station. I had ordered a spicy crab roll, spicy tuna roll, and miso soup to warm me up. The staff was friendly upon pick up and it was ready when I got there, within the estimated time. I did not see much of the restaurant upon walking in, so I cannot say much about the environment, but the front was designed nicely. My rolls were absolutely amazing and they did not lack on the filling. It may have been slightly less spicy than others I have had, but definitely had more depth in my opinion. This place is a hidden gem in Kings Park. The food is always fresh and tasty. The staff is always friendly and the restaurant has a nice ambiance. Definitely recommend giving Umai a try.
