UKRAFT Brunch Café – Downtown St. Louis

A fantastic breakfast find in the downtown area! After sleeping in and missing our hotel’s breakfast, we walked over to Ukraft, which was just a short distance away. The space is very open and inviting, the service was friendly, and the food was delicious. It turned out to be a great accidental discovery

We stopped in for breakfast two days in a row and got the Cajun chicken hash scramble and an omelette. The sauce was amazing, portions were generous, and the price was fair. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. They offer gluten free options that didn’t make us sick. Definitely a spot we’d go back to when visiting.

The food selection is (almost too) large, all the dishes are freshly prepared and very tasty. The ambiance is urban style, nothing special, okay. The only thing not so nice was the service. The guy behind the counter didn’t know how to smile, you could tell he was not really motivated to work. Service can make a big difference how a customer perceives the experience.

UKraft St. Louis is fantastic! The food is fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared, with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options on the menu that can also be easily customized. What truly sets them apart is how accommodating they are with dietary needs and food allergies. The staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and takes the time to understand specific restrictions, which makes dining there stress-free and enjoyable. It’s refreshing to find a place that genuinely cares about both quality and safety without compromising taste. Highly recommend UKraft to anyone with dietary preferences or allergy concerns you’ll feel well taken care of!

Great option in downtown STL. It was quite busy when we went and maybe that was the reason that multiple items on our order was forgotten about. Regardless, the amazing food made up for the iffy service, in my opinion. Would visit again. Pictured is the Breakfast Burrito in a wrap and a Vanilla Chai tea.
