Tybee Island Branch Library

A nice, little library with friendly staff and a cute selection of games and activities for children to enjoy. The books and dvds are in great condition, likely due to the quietness of this branch. Tybee Island library is part of the GA Pines system which allows checkouts and returns possible within all Pines libraries, instead of only within one branch. This is great if you’re in the area just visiting for the day.

The library was extremely noisy as everybody was talking with loud voices. I had to study and found it very disruptive. I was extremely disappointed. Not to mention there was a dog in the library as well.

A great little treasure on the island – the staff was super helpful and nice, very clean and cool inside and looks like they have a number of wonderful activities and summer reading programs for kids!

What a host of incompetent ancient associates at the circulation desk. They are slow and more interested in chatting than getting loans processed. On my recent visit, it took 15 minutes for them to get to me and clear my account before attempting to check out my items. They could not figure out one item as to how or why it would circulate longer than usual. Instead of getting me out the door, the two ladies had a conversation as to what was wrong with the code. When I got home, I discovered the idiots forgot to unlock the DVDs. Please hire new able staff and replace the "Sweetie."

A year ago I visited Tybee Island and made several trips to your wonderful Library. I was looking for a copy of Ann Morrow Lindberg's' 'Gifts from the Sea', and received help from a charmingly engaging very curly headed attractive librarian, who instantly became my secret sweety. Thanks and it is a year later and back in Indiana please know you are still my secret sweety
