What a great addition to this part of Downtown Brooklyn/Brooklyn Heights. This Hainanese Chinese restaurant is really serving some great authentic dishes! We had the Hainanese Special Noodles with gravy served with housemade beef jerky, Hainanese Chicken, and a regional mochi! The flavors were great, really unique offerings, and very fresh! Highly recommend everything we had! Happy to see a place that tastes so authentic in this part of Brooklyn!

So excited that a Hainanese place opened up on State Street!! It’s tucked away around the corner but well worth the extra steps. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind, the guy who worked at the front especially so. I texted them asking for the menu ahead of going in, and they responded super quickly. My partner and I ended up sharing a whole chicken and a side of rice for dinner, and the sauce was so, so, so divine! Super authentic and delicious food with warm service. Excited to come back to try the rest of their menu.

Everything we get from here is delicious. The chicken is moist, perfectly cooked and flavorful. The sauce, the rice, perfection. The special noodles were sweet and savory, a completely unique taste that we’ve now ordered multiple times. Highly recommend to anyone looking for hainan chicken. The owners are also really helpful and friendly.

Saw the soft opening sign and decided to check it out. Was helped by a young man who was very kind. Cute spot and they said they make everything homemade – food looks great. Already had lunch so just tried a stuffed rice cake. Mochi-like exterior filled with sweetened toasted coconut. Very tasty and filling. Will come back to try out more items!
