Two J's

Got a burger from here and it was delicious. Pretty standard diner type burger. Large in size tho! Cost $9. There are lots of picnic tables to eat at. It’s cash only. There is a conquistador statue that is pretty uncomfortable to see (so much violent history…) but otherwise I got good vibes from this spot. You’ll see the Coca Cola sign for the turn in when you’re driving here. Otherwise there isn’t a sign.

Best food I’ve had since arriving in NM. We stopped for lunch and sat under the pines to eat. We shared a bean / cheese burrito and a beef quesadilla. The beans were smoky with bacon; just the right amount of cheese and green chile. Lingering heat was perfect. Same with the quesadilla— perfect amount of cheese, beef, green chile. Not gloppy or sloppy. Los chiles cantan. This is food made with love. Total with 2 drinks $14. We’ll be back.

Terrible hours. Food is mediocre at best. I've eaten here a few times when I could find them open (inconsistent) and it wasn't worth the trip. Cash only.
