Twisted Liquid

New favorite food and drink location in Blacksburg! Over the course of two nights we sampled 8 cocktails, and 7 of the starters, small plates and entrees. I want to give Twisted Liquid 5 starts, but it's not quite there. Several cocktails were outstanding. Many others show so much potential, but need to be tweaked for balance. Flavor profiles tend toward very sweet. None are classically boozy. Almost all are tasty, but dialing back the sweetness would bring them into balance . For food, the Pub Burger, the Blue Crab Donut and the Truffle Mac and Cheese stand out. The Duck Bao would benefit from an actual steamed bun. The Hunters Pie, oddly, would benefit from more vegetables. The pork pizzella was quite good. Service was friendly and attentive! Overall impression: like almost

This place is absolutely amazing. The food was Great and the service was impeccable. The drinks were like no other place I’ve been to. You have to come try it once and you’ll be hooked. You will fall in love with it.

I was blown away with the thoughtfulness behind their food menu and even more so the cocktails! They are doing something unique and doing it very well! We had an amazing time on a Wednesday night, when they offer a whisky special and a burger special. I had the mussels and they were amazing as well as the ahi pesto appetizer!! Morgan was our server and she was a delight 🫶

I can’t describe the atmosphere other than truly mesmerizing, each experience in drinks and food was a Mabel to be with old. From decadent and light flavors to gritty and deep tastes they have something for every palate. And you will leave here with a new standard for how food should be. In addition the ownership is stellar. A MUST do for Blacksburg and southwestern Virginia as a whole.
