Customer Reviews
I think the food is good. Nothing phenomenal but consistent. They seemed to be out of a few things but could be due to the holidays. The coffee drinks I had were well made and well balanced. I think the menu could be expanded as it was rather limited. The staff was super sweet
The food was delicious! The breakfast bowl was flavorful and a great boost or energy to start the day. And the lavender matcha latte was one of the best I’ve ever had! Such a cute ambience as well. I wish I could transport this place to my hometown
I ordered the salmon grain bowl through DoorDash and was shocked to find the salmon completely raw (see photo). I’ve had this dish before—both in person and online—so I know exactly how it’s supposed to be. This wasn’t undercooked—it was uncooked. When I called the cafe, they dismissed my concern by saying it’s “cooked, just not as I expected.” That’s simply false. The texture, color, and temperature all clearly show it was raw. Serving raw fish without warning or proper handling is a major health risk. This kind of disregard for food safety and customer experience is unacceptable. I won’t be ordering from Twinflower again unless their standards and accountability improve.
I really wanted to LOVE this place. It looked beautiful online and the food looks so delicious. Unfortunately, I did not feel it met my expectations. The space was quite smaller than imagined and the food did not live to its expectations. The avocado toast was good but the chicken banh mi was not very enjoyable. The bread on the sandwich was very tough, not quite stale but hard to bite into. It was also smaller than expected, they are usually served on a baguette. The coffee was also just ok. It was all just ok. I was expecting to be blown away. If you are a guest at the hotel it’s perfectly fine but I wouldn’t go out of your way to come. Four stars because the staff is very friendly.
The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between cozy and luxurious. It feels special while still being welcoming and comfortable. The staff are always warm and welcoming. Their homemade syrups for drinks are a lovely treat and the menu has a great variety of healthy yet delicious options. I especially appreciate that they offer both gluten-free and dairy free choices, like the rose cardamom chai, which has become a new favorite. The pumpkin pie cold brew made with their house made pumpkin syrup and cold foam is another standout. It’s the perfect spot to get some work done while still feeling nice and relaxed. Whether you’re stopping in for coffee or a full meal, Twinflower Cafe is a gem worth visiting
