Turmeric Indian Cafe & Bar

I have never craved Indian food until going here, best in Milwaukee for me. I try to limit myself to once a month. Gone probably over 20 times and the service and food has ALWAYS been top tier. I personally love their chicken vindaloo but have tried their tikka and butter chicken and both also delicious!

EVERYTHING was delicious like I couldn’t stop eating. Got the Indian Cosmo…divine! The tandoori chicken with the green sauce and garlic naan was fire. Because the tandoori chicken had a bit of kick I was worried the medium chicken vindaloo would be too spicy but it was perfect with the rice and naan. Every bite was amazing, will definitely be back

I really enjoy coming to this place! Tumeric Indian Cafe is Milwaukee's best kept Indian cuisine secret...It's just Downtown with convenient off street parking. The atmosphere has a quaint, chill vibe. No matter what I order or when I order it, each meal brings is a delight to the senses. My husband and I have always believed that you can best judge an Indian restaurant by it Biryani--lolol! :) And well the Biryani from Tumeric Indian Cafe is light, fragrant, and so savory that it is comforting... For as tasty as the food is the portions are small. As far as I Am concerned you can't have too much of a good thing...Also, if I had to choose between individual meals and the buffet, I would choose the meals. Absolutely amazing. I’ve lived around the block from this place for over a year and finally got around to trying to it. I got the chicken coconut curry, and my boyfriend got lamb curry for our meals with garlic naan. The food was amazing, kind of sad I had snacks before dinner and didn’t have more room. I also got the tamarind whiskey sour, and as someone whose drink of choice is a whiskey sour I was so happy with this choice. Thank you Preeti for the amazing service. Will definitely be back.

We ordered 3 vegan dishes and one Buttered chicken. We forgot to mention and they forgot to ask, the heat for these dishes. We got 3 very hot vegan. And one very mild buttered chicken. The dishes were ok and authentic. Buttered chicken was tasty, but the chicken felt like repurposed chicken beryoni. The chairs and tables didnt feel right. I wanted to clean the tables. I saw the guy was spraying and wiping the tables, but our dishes stuck to the table. My son love this place and probably go there again.
