Turkey Lake Restaurant & Tavern

The food was great! we went at 12noon and we're the only table and I only saw 3 ppl working the cook, server, a helper and they got slammed all at once and whole restaurant filled up within like 10 minutes and the cook was helping deliver food and the helper was refilling drinks as the server was trying to orders and drinks. I give them props for staying calm and working as hard they could for just 3 of them and working as a team! we will definitely be back:)

What a wonderful surprise! Went in at lunch the day before Thanksgiving and they were BUSY! One server and what we could tell was just one cook but they hustled and we had a bit of a wait but it was worth it. Food was very good and the shrimp, fish, chicken tenders and boneless nuggets were some of the best we have had, the cheese curds had a great flavor and portions were all very generous. Not the fanciest place but that's OK, the food is a winner!

My fish tacos were excellent. They are one of only two fish dishes that aren’t fried. The others in my party enjoyed their food too the service was good. It’s not a fancy place but from what some lake people tell us, it’s one of the best in the area.

Typical dive bar feeling, but the fried cod was delicious. Healthy portions, lite crispy coating on perfectly cooked fish. There homemade coleslaw was creamy and very tasty!! We sat in the bar area and the gal that served us was friendly and attentive. We will definitely go back!!

I come here to eat fish all the time they have a new fish, not impressed. Didn’t like the new fish too thick didn’t seem to be done in the center was very greasy. so I guess I will have to find a new place to find good fish.
