Tràm Chim Live King Crab

I’m not sure if this place changed owners or restructured their management team or strategy, but it’s completely different from what we experienced before. We tried their special grilled chicken for the first time, and it was insanely good—I’m honestly addicted to the flavor now. The sticky rice is also excellent and pairs perfectly with the chicken. You have to order this chicken whenever you visit because it will blow your mind. The seafood is fairly average, similar to most other seafood restaurants. The staff were much more attentive this time compared to our previous visit, cleaning up before we even asked and checking in to see if we needed anything else. This experience completely changed how my family feels about this restaurant, and I can now confidently recommend it.

Four of us ordered set menu :(lobster with noodles, crab soups, manggo salad with clam), bake blood clam & shrimp fried rice. We got complimentary mix fresh tropical fruits ( jack fruit, longan, water melon) & pudding for dessert. The service was excellent. Waitress were very attentive.

The glass noodles with mixed seafood was delicious—reminded me of Singapore style noodles. Ask for their hot chili sauce 🥵 it adds a special hottt flavor. —> Am definitely getting this again next time. I also tried the mango squid salad, which was quite nice and had a lot of squid in it, but it also contained a lot of green mango for me to eat in one sitting —> I might order it again, but only if I had someone to share it with. As a nice touch, the restaurant also provides a complimentary fruit plate for dessert 😋

I used to like this restaurant, but sadly, it has lost its standards. The quality of the food has gone downhill and to make matter worse, they now charge a whopping $25 per bottle for corkage—way too steep considering the subpar experience. The goat hotpot was undercooked, the sea snail salad was overcooked, and the grilled sea snail dish had sand! This shows a lack of proper cleaning and attention to detail. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning anytime soon.

This place is great for seafood lovers, from crabs, oysters to lobsters. More than enough space to hold big or large parties, indoor seating or outdoor. The service is superb, ambiance is great!
