Truva Turkish Kitchen Charlotte

This was our first time at Truva, and I’m so happy to say we finally found a truly good Turkish restaurant in the Charlotte area! I didn’t want to set my expectations too high before going, but everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We had the mixed grill, which came with salad and was a generous portion for two people, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The lentil soup was excellent, and we also loved the salads. The only small downside was that they didn’t have ayran available at the time, which made us a little sad, but we ordered sparkling water instead. 😊 The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We’re already looking forward to trying more dishes and will definitely be coming back soon!

Tried this place yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. The meal started with a warm lentil soup that was rich, smooth, and lightly seasoned—comforting without being heavy. The main dish came with tender grilled chicken chunks that were nicely charred on the outside and juicy on the inside. The plate also came with fluffy rice and a fresh salad with crunchy veggies, making the whole meal feel well-rounded and satisfying. Portions were generous, and everything tasted clean and fresh without being bland. I was already so full that I decided to take the dessert to go, but even after bringing it home, it was still absolutely delicious. The pastry was crispy on the outside, lightly sweet, and topped with pistachios—definitely the kind of dessert you keep thinking about after the meal. Overal

Really nice space, even better food. Mixed grill was a great way to sample some different items. Looked like they had some good lunch specials. Incredible baklava! Check this place out! Update: came for the lunch special, it did not disappoint. Great lunch spot too, make sure you check out their specials!

We really loved this Turkish restaurant! The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The service was excellent friendly staff and very fast. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. We will definitely come back again!

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at Truva Turkish Kitchen. Even though it is in a “soft opening” the food and the service were terrific. We were ushered to the table right away. The food came out quickly and was delicious. The lamb kebab was really lovely - tender and flavorful. The Sultan’s Favorite was really delicious. (Online it says it is lamb but on the menu you have a choice of beef or chicken. (We went with the beef).) We started with the humus which could easily be enough for four people. Final note that the owner came out several times to check on the food - he was super nice and very attentive. All in all a very welcoming environment and really nice find. We will be back and recommend it.
