Truman Gillet House B & B

Was a beautiful bed and breakfast very relaxing and quiet. We stayed in the Connecticut room was very comfortable , tub and shower were fantastic. The breakfast was great and the perfect way to start the day.they are fantastic hosts.we ate at the bear highly recommend it fantastic food and drinks. Mgm Springfield was pretty close about 25 mins away

Lovely old house, built in 1804; it’s like stepping back in time ( but with all modern amenities!). Kim & Wayne are very accommodating. I was the only guest for two nights, stayed in the smaller of the 2 rooms, was very comfortable. The place is very clean and well kept.|Delicious breakfast. I will stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here near the tail end of our New England trip. Wayne and Kim were spectacular hosts. Breakfast was delicious and the house and area have a lot of charm and history. Highly recommend! Really enjoyed hearing some good stories as well.

I loved this place! The jacuzzi bath in our room was amazing! Wayne and Kim were wonderful and the food was delicious. They asked more than once about food limitations, so you know they take safety seriously. I wish we could've stayed longer.

We stayed in the Granby room, which is a small bedroom on the east side of the house. Although the bathroom is a couple steps outside the bedroom in the hall, it is only used by folks renting the Granby room, and there is plenty of privacy at night because the owners live upstairs and the other hall door to the Connecticut room stays closed. ||Bottom line: the bed and pillows were comfortable, we had plenty of towels, the shower had good water pressure, and there is a lovely sitting room that we were able to use. We enjoyed sitting on the park bench outside watching the birds in the morning.||The location is good because it is in the country, yet only 5 miles from a CVS, small grocery store, and restaurants.
