True Texas BBQ

Franjella provided us excellent service at True BBQ! She was very attentive didn't rush us looking through the menu and provided us popular items to try. She recommended the baked potato and I absolutely loved it! It was a generous baked potato with all the fixings , ate half and took rest home for later.

Really good BBQ. If you want something quick, this will satisfy your craving. I had the 2-meat plate w/ brisket and turkey, Mac n cheese and greens. The sides were alright, nothing special. I wonder if the greens were from a can? The turkey was a little bit dry, but still tasted good enough. The lean brisket was flavorful. The restaurant is connected to the HEB, but it’s still very spacious inside.

First time visiting this location. The food was disgusting. I purchased chopped brisket, greens, brisket baked beans The brisket was okay. The greens taste hirribke. The baked beans had big pieces of fat, no brisket. The servings were small for 3.49 each side. The presentation was not pleasing. Last time I’ll waste my money

There were technical difficulties with the register, but staff continued to address us waiting and apologizing. Once we ordered on a kiosk, food came up pretty quick. Everything was great! Loaded baked potato with pulled pork was the perfect size. Brisket El Jefe was amazing. Creamed corn and mac and cheese delicious. Don't miss the loaded corn bread either! Nathaniel came by the table to ask how everything was and was super helpful. Forgot to take pics until after we started eating.

I ordered the feed the family for four meal. 1 lb turkey, 1 lb brisket and two medium sides (Mac and cheese and creamed corn) for $69 dollars I added a link of sausage and French fries. Everything was good but I felt the brisket was a little salty and the turkey was over spiced for my taste. The sides weren't that great. The fries were awesome. For the price I would rather have Terry Black's or Harmons BBQ but in a pinch I would probably stop by again cause everyone was very nice and helpful.
