True Texas BBQ

Who knew there was BBQ in an HEB??!! My toddler and I came in for dinner this evening. We ordered the turkey baked potato. That looks so yummy and food we couldn’t even finish. They even have these reusable cups. It will cost me $2 less every time I come in to HEB to shop with my toddler. Food was delicious, service was great, plenty of food, and a huge variety of BBQ. We will definitely be coming back!

Love this place! Don't let the fact that it's in a grocery store deter you from trying it. They have such great quality BBQ and their sides are to die for! Do yourself a favor and come check this place out! My favorite is the chopped brisket sandwich with some corn or Mac And cheese on the side. Weather your stopping in on your way to get groceries or picking some up to take home, or coming in for a quick lunch break you will thank yourself!

HEB does everything exceptionally well including BBQ. Got brisket and ribs. The brisket was good and smoky and pretty moist but the ribs were some of the best I've had. The serrano cornbread was perfect. The coleslaw was average for me. The little packs of toothpicks are a nice bonus!

We love to get BBQ here! The service is always great. The fatty brisket is moist, ribs fall off the bone. The turkey can be dry, but still flavorful! I asked the server about the coleslaw and she even gave me a sample to try.

The portion sizes here are ridiculous. We’ve been eating here for years but I won’t be back. The chopped beef sandwich is so small, it’s for a child! A tiny little cheap burger bun with a tiny scoop of brisket. What happened????? This is so disappointing for the price The sandwich owed to take up the whole container and now it’s barely half.
