True North Tavern

Saw them when driving into Steamboat Lake SP and went back because we were too tired to cook. Very cool place, with a terrific patio. We were greeted warmly, got drinks, and ordered. The menu had plenty of choices, something for everyone. The Monster Smash Burger was mad delicious, and so were the onion rings. The staff really want everything to be great, and it was. Don’t skip the chocolate lava cake! We’ll be back.

Perfect spot to enjoy great food and great views! The staff made us feel at home and the patio area was dreamy. Not to mention the food & drinks were delicious!

Fabulous Routt County vibes! The view and feel of the outdoor patio are a gem. Food was fast and tasty - had a perfectly cooked burger and Hank the chef made up some amazing chipotle dipping sauce for the fries. Heading back for a Steamboat Lake stroll and happy hour!

We had such an amazing meal here. The owner was there and he came to our table to make multiple recommendations on specials or new items he was offering on the menu. We tried all of his recommendations and they were all so delicious. The weekly specials menu was also awesome & so affordable.

Wow! Excellent. The bloody Mary made it into my top 3 of all time. The peach habenaro sauce should be bottled and shipped to my front door. The burgers a large and very tasty. We were helped by multiple servers, all of which were delightful. I can't say enough good about this place. $100 plate quality for a third of that price with a mountain view. A MUST stop.
