True Blue Mediterranean Grill

I love this place. You will never have a bad meal. However, I waited 30 minutes and finally asked if the food was sitting there was mine. She said, “yeah.” I said I didn’t get a text, but she just kind of shrugged and asked if I wanted a bag. The prices are insane now. I get chicken basmati with cauliflower and eggplant. At first, the guy was cutting the chicken portion and swapping it with eggplant and cauliflower which was ideal. Then I started to be charged extra which was fine. It was maybe a $1. This time I was charged an extra $10 for cauliflower and 4 pieces of eggplant. I think I’m done with True Blue for now. $44 for a dinner and baba ghanoush is crazy.

Had the new Hummus Bowl today! It was delicious. Ingredients were fresh and the flavors were amazing. A great value and super filling. Can easily be shared!

I had lunch here for the first time today and it was amazing! Food came out quickly, and the service was prompt and friendly! Highly recommend the hummus.

TL;DR: The food is great! Came here for the first time tonight with my wife (great pick, babe!) and the experience was excellent. I call it an experience because it truly felt like one! We arrived not knowing what to expect and started at the kiosk area, began looking through the menu there when the nice woman behind the counter asked if we might like to eat in the dining room. I thought she meant the open area, but no! There is a cozy space off the the side of the kitchen that somehow looks straight out of the future, yet has a rustic feel. The slightly varied blue tones paired with the dark brick evoked a calm and welcoming aura. The food is simply fantastic. Still my favorite Mediterranean food in the area. Great lamb chops! Great gyros! Great coffee! The owner is an absolute gem and works her heart out to make your visit special. Go. Eat. Enjoy!
