Absolutely amazing! This was my first time trying oxtails and they were so tender they literally melted in my mouth. I've also shockingly never had a turkey wing and that was also amazing! It was tender and flavorful! The green beans were a little too salty for me and the Mac and cheese was also different to me, however it may be it's all my personal opinion. Definitely will be back to try other stuff!!

AMAZING !!!!!! Imagine my surprise when I accidentally stumbled onto the fact they now have a restaurant here in Roxboro !!! Working near Durham, ate at the one in Creedmoor pretty often. The food was delicious, as always. Got the Ox Tail plate, fried and jerk chicken. We did take out, so I can’t really speak much on the service or atmosphere other than to say the food was ready, they were friendly, and the place looks super nice. Can’t wait to go back. Be sure to give them all the support so they stay !!!!

Honestly one of the best places in town. An absolute GEM. Ordered takeout and got a pork chop plate w/ Mac and cheese and string beans and a Catfish plate w/ Mac and cheese and collard greens and everything was amazing. It was hot, ready in 10 mins. This is the only place I will eat fish, it is flaky, seasoned to perfection and the portions are crazy. 😮‍💨 Down to the dinner roll, everything was 10/10. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves soul food. Amazing addition to roxboro’s restaurant scene.

I ate here a couple weeks ago and almost bit off a finger the way I was smacking and licking the entire time I was there! I visited directly after my fathers memorial and would’ve posted sooner but I couldn’t forget to give this place its glory! I’ll start with the “should be adjustments”. 1. No one likes coming to an establishment and have your mouth set for items listed on the menu and 3 or more of the main popular items aren’t available. This is a major miss in black owned establishments. True it creates fomo and may make some want to travel back for it, however, you miss the opportunity if the guest is from out of town and potentially decides to not get anything at all. 2. Paid only Refills are a no go. At minimum free refills on tea and water should be offered. There are other small t

20 minute wait, okay service and subpar food. Disappointed 😞
