After pulling off Hwy 65 (don't go too fast or blink bc you can miss the gravel entrance very easily, especially if you are heading into the sun) it seemed like I entered a "quiet" zone and everything felt peaceful. Granted, yes, I was out in the country but only yards from a relatively active highway with semis and dump trucks. I have never stopped here before today. I guess after living in the St. Croix River Valley for over 20+ yrs I finally slowed down enough and didn't miss the turn this time. It was well worth the stop.
