Tropical Jerk & Seafood Center

Whoever cooked or prepared this oxtail needs to just start washing the dishes instead. Why are you guys serving undercooked oxtail with nothing but fat on it? Smh. For being one of the most expensive food on the menu, you guys have to make sure this is cooked and prepared properly.

The workers here are extremely careless, inconsiderate, and unorganized, especially the big tall guy. I came in to pick up a mobile order at the estimated pickup time, and they hadn’t even started preparing the order until after I checked in with them. The tall guy, knowing that I was waiting, prepared the order, and just left it on the counter for someone else to pack. He couldn’t be bothered to just pack it himself, and didn’t even communicate with the other workers to pack it. He also wouldn’t make eye contact even if his life depended on it. I ended up standing there waiting on an order that’s also just sitting there, with no one paying attention that it needed to be packed. It was infuriating. Eventually, after getting a different worker’s attention, he packed it. As I was explaining

We should support our own! The food here is delicious BUT why is Tropical Jerk Uniondale Front Street management so unkind to its employees. 2 people handling the Sunday crowd -one of the busiest days of the week? The young lady at the counter was graciously trying to take orders and pack ready orders at the same time! There were at least 15 people waiting for 30+ minutes! Management needs to show farmer respect to its employees and ITS CUSTOMERS!!! You have to do better!!!

I ordered Jerk chicken rice and peas and vegetables. The portion is too small, it’s should have been large but it’s medium serving, I spent almost $100. I called to make sure that they add sweet sauce and gravy because the food was coming all the way to Suffolk County all the way from Nassau County and the rice no gravy like how do you make that kind of mistake I don’t understand this. They have to pay more attention the chicken was a little burnt , you have to pay more attention the delivery alone with $15.everything is expensive and if you don’t serve the amount to satisfy your customers, you will lose your customers to a better restaurant please stop shorting people just to To cut corners And do right by your customers!!!

Idk why all these negative comments and one stars. I come here almost weekly now with my wife. The jerk chicken with oxtail gravy, 4 fried wings chopped and beef patty hits like no others. I have a great experience every week that I’m here
