Tropic Island Jerk Chicken

I ordered on DoorDash and the food was just not up to taste. The Mac and cheese had red peppers in it (wasn’t good) and I also ordered yams, but as you can see, got double Mac. The oxtails weren’t of good taste either.

This was some of the best jerk food I’ve had in a long time! My container was packed full of food, hot and fresh! I order the jerk catfish and I ate off that plate for two days. Everything was delicious. 8.5/10!

I have enjoyed many meals here over the years, however what I received today was nowhere close to the quality I had become accustomed to. My yams were over cooked and entirely too sweet, and my cabbage lacked flavor, but my chicken was at the standard I'm used to getting. Do better please.

My first and last time getting anything at Tropical Island Jerk Chicken! Their menu is very misleading, having items on the menu, then State they don't have it. No cornbread, but want to charge $1 for two slices of white bread. The person taking orders don't know how to take orders. Ordered three dinners, only received two. Get cheated out of my money. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM. Can't give a rating for the food, because I never got my order, but paid for it.

Great place for Jamaican food. You can order ahead using apps or just come in order it, wait for it and go. Persons there are very friendly. They answered all my questions and made clear to me what I was ordering.
