Tropi Frutas

I needed a smoothie to reset from all of the partying and binge eating from trying multiple different food spots while traveling. Found Tropi Freitas and got the papaya smoothie, man this was what I needed. Fresh fruit and great portion sizes. Worth every cent spent, and the friendly service made my visit even better. Missing out if you don’t stop by!

I’m just going to say that the images attached are supposed to be “Elote”.. This was more of a disappointing soup that tasted like cream cheese and nacho cheese instead, which completely ruined my night and craving for Elote I had for the next few days. I don’t know if it was just a one off thing but I would be weary of getting “Elotes-Locos” off the menu 🤢👎🏽

Today, August 1, 2025, made a purchase at 9:10 P.M. received a large fruit salad that I purchased. I want to say more than half of the fruit was rotten rotten enough that the fruit turn colors and showed green and brown in the parts. They were spoiled. I also ordered a strawberries and cream cup which 95% of the strawberries were also bad At this point, I’m gonna have to also make a report to the health DEPARTMENT. Not only where these employees negligent serving me, and my Family spoiled food, but they could have gotten all of us sick i will be calling management tomorrow and the health department on Monday.

I work at the laundromat close to tropi frutas so its one of my go to’s for lunch. I ordered the carne asada torta and the caramel frappe. The caramel frappe is soooooo good kinda tastes like Starbucks and the torta BOMB a good amount of everything. Orders can take a while to come out you might as well call ahead of time but its worth it.

* I ordered a Turkey torta and got a lettuce torta, REALLY! Called and asked for the manager and they would not give me his name and to call back. *8/3/19 Please make sure to check they charge you right, this has been my third time and I always get charged way to much, I did not catch it last 2 times until I got home, but this time from $11 it was, she wanted to charge me $24 😳 really. And I said, are you sure, for the special, she smiled and said, ups sorry and gave me the correct amount. The 3 times I've been here, this happened. Other than that, the food is good, just price unless you get a combo and not get charged extra 🤦‍♀️ *7/19Very good food and service (but always check your bill and the original price) And no receipt OMG🤔🙇‍♀️🤷‍♀️
