Triple Bs Big Bad Bob’s BBQ

The BBQ was outstanding. It's been the best I've tasted in Sumter. The brisket had a good taste but was a little tough. The mac & cheese was ok and the cabbage was delicious. The Karolina Krack tea is great but a diabetic's nightmare. There wasn't much of a variety of drinks for a diabetic either, just water. All in all, we will be back and hopefully the next dishes will be better and tender.

A must go to. Southern Hospitality at its finest. Lemon Pepper Ribs over BBQ sauce ribs! Hash n Rice fresh and warm for the soul! Top it off with the homemade banana pudding and you'll feel comfort food at a new level.

I've eaten here twice and got pulled pork and brisket nachos.. both were well worth the money. Very good smoky BBQ flavor. I'm from NC and have lived in Sumter since 2011. This is the best thing this city has right now. Seriously, it's good. Ketchup based sauce is sweet Vinegar sauce has a good flavor, not overpowering. Keep it up pitmasters!

When you walk into the restaurant you instantly get the “at home” vibe, very relaxed and comfortable. Friendly staff that will help you to understand southern hospitality if you’re from out of town. I’ve had the ribs, hash and rice, bbq sandwich, Mac and cheese, as well as fries. The ribs were tasty and properly cooked to fall off of the bone, they’re not my favorite style of rib but I did enjoy them. The classic sandwich really sets the tone for any BBQ joint and this one doesn’t disappoint. The vinegar sauce is good and not overpoweringly vinegar flavor like a lot of sauces you’ll find out there, but the mustard is my preferred. The fries are kind of fair style fries, so if you’re looking for plain flavorless crinkle fries; you came to the wrong place. Good experience all around. Beats t

Both vinegar and tomato based sauces are very good. Baked beans are tasty, with slices of onions and chunks of pork. Mac and cheese is excellent with generous side portions and reasonably sized portions on the dinner plate . The sandwich roll is closer to a brioche, rather than a simple hamburger bun. Nice, family owned storefront with a country feel. We'll return for more of their good food.
