Customer Reviews
I am usually in Oroville during the summer but was here for a few days this spring. I was very happy to see that Trinos was open as it is our favorite restaurant here. One night I had the Arroz con Pollo and the next I had the mole chicken. Both dishes came out looking picture perfect and the flavours were 'muy deliciosa'. The mole reminded me of being back in Oaxaca. Very large portions as well, plenty to take home after. I am a huge fan of the cabbage relish that they serve with the chips and salsa, Trino says it is a family recipe handed down. I took a container of it to go. Keep up the great work and see you again this summer!
Nice restaurant, we visited it on our way on July 4rh and it was open. Only thing that when you enter it , you smell it as a very old place. Service was good and fast as much as they can but they were smiling and happy. Food options are great to choose from, portions are big enough and taste is an excellent Mexican taste.
Great Mexican choices. Generous portions. Very kind host.
Trino was a great host. Friendly and very informative of the community and happenings around town. True authentic Mexican cuisine and atmosphere. We had a salad and Burito which were excellent. Not very busy these days with all the unrest in the system, these border towns suffer with tensions that are not fair.
Delicious chicken mole, chips, and their famous salsa. Highly recommend. Service was friendly and quick. Had enough leftovers for lunch to the next day 🙂
