Treebeerd's Taphouse

This was a lovely visit! I went in with a friend just after 5 pm. I got wonderful service, a nice inviting presence, and it was a load of fun to stop on by for a glass of mead from a local seller and to sit inside or outside. The glasses are themed as the titular Lord of the Rings Ent himself and the decorations were both relevant and fun for the Halloween season. We sat outside because it was a nice afternoon and it would be easier to leave when we needed to attend the play we were going to after a bit of fun at this tap house. They also have a few food options, but I'm pretty sure they allow outside food as well. I think they had pretzels with beer cheese, nachos, and one other food option I can not remember, but if they still allow outside food, it'd be super easy to grab a slice of piz

I will never step foot in this establishment again and neither will any of the people I care about. I have been going here for over 6 years. I made a special stop to visit here as a former OSU student. I was told I needed to give my seat up for a man. I told him I won’t be leaving, and I also informed the patron about the legal requirement that any animal in a food serving establishment needs to be a task trained service animal trained to mitigate a disability. This person then exploded in my face, telling me they know the owner, this is not a rule at Treebeards, and they had people to back them up. I was then told by someone working there that I needed to leave. I asked why, and was told that I am aggressive and hostile. I am a small, inconspicuous woman. I was told that I may have “spe

Had a tasty Hefe (many beers and ciders to choose from) and played board games on a fun Friday night out! The OSU marching band even made an appearance! Cozy, local pub spot with both inside and outdoor seating.

My pretzel was still cold in the middle because it's just reheated, but the beer is really good and the company is wonderful. The staff are incredible. But don't show up hungry, it's not that kind of bar

Music way too loud, meaning the talking gets gradually louder and louder. I can't drink, so.. not a great place to meet up and chat in my opinion. I did not expect it to be even half as loud. It was extremely busy too
