This food truck was fantastic! No frills. They aren’t needed. If you want a giant hamburger that tastes exactly like it should, this is your place to get it. Fresh off the grill and piping hot. I should’ve put something in the photo for reference. It’s gigantic. And the quality isn’t lacking either. I’ve paid a lot more for a lot worse. Meat is great and cooked to perfection. Just enough toppings. Highly, highly recommend. The sausage was excellent as well. And true to its name, it was over a foot long. The price can’t be beat for it either. If you’ve been considering checking them out, just go for it. The awards are well earned.

The owner of this food truck met me at what I presume was his house a few years back to have some work on it done. He arrived in the food truck and provided the same name as the owner of the restaurant as claimed by their Facebook page. The house was clearly being used for storage of products which he used for his business. I'm not positive on the matter, but I don't think the health department would approve of using a private residence as a storage facility. However, the real problem was the fact that an enormous amount of products and kitchen equipment, some of which seemed to be in use or for service as of recently were stored outside uncovered, unprotected in the summer heat and elements.

Solid food truck in the Avondale neighborhood of Birmingham. The truck seems to be permanently parked at this location, though only opens at 6pm. Went for dinner on a Friday night right around opening. Food was ready super quick--we could tell he had been making a lot of stuff ahead in preparation of opening. Not a lot of places to eat right around the truck, but Avondale Park a couple blacks away is beatiful. Ordered a Polish sausage and Bear Burger. Both come with the same bbq sauce/grilled onions/ground beef toppings. We were told that the ground beef can't be separated from the grilled onions, for reference. Both were very good, and the sausage was high quality!

Travis Chicago Style Food Truck is hands-down the best ever! The hot dogs are unmatched, the burgers are incredible, and the flavors are always on point. Damian has the best customer service and is truly the sweetest soul — friendly, fast, and always makes you feel welcome. If you’re looking for the best Chicago-style eats around, this is the spot!

The Grizzly Burger at Travis was 🔥. Huge, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and worth it. One of the best burgers I’ve had—definitely coming back.
