I’ve followed Travelin Pizza on social media for a while and decided to check it out. It’s one guy making pizzas in a wood fired oven out of a food truck. He explained his process - from making the dough and sauce from scratch to the oven temperatures. There was a little wait as there were a couple orders ahead of mine, but the result was worth it. Went with classics half cheese half pepperoni…really great pizza with a nice char on the crust. I’m not sure if they put out any picnic tables outside once the weather is warmer so it seems like a takeout place. I would definitely come back!
Travelin Pizza is incredible! From the wood burning oven, to the dough, the fresh high-end ingredients, and to the creativity - these guys absolutely rock! I tried the blueberry, steak, and jalapeño tonight - yes you read that right - and it was amazing! What a wild combo and incredible flavors that I never thought would go together. The cheese pizza is killer, the meat lovers is fantastic - you can’t go wrong. If they’re in your area, don’t sleep on these guys! 10/10 will eat again and definitely a strong recommendation! Get you some!!
My parents booked Travelin' Pizza for my bridal shower and it was an amazing experience. The staff was so nice and attentive and made sure everyone had the pizza they wanted. They were even making pizzas for people to take home at the end. The pizza itself was delicious and everyone was raving about it. The pickle pizza was the favorite and an absolute must try!!
We are in from Ohio and have seen them on social media and had to try. We had a Cuban, barbecue chicken, classic pep and cheese. All were excellent. Crust had a nice crispy bite into a nice chew. The Cuban was chef’s kiss.
I’ve been eyeing travelin pizza for quite awhile now and finally got to try it! We did a create your own pizza and went pretty basic with simply their sauce, cheese blend and some garlic. It was seriously good. I generally like very minimal sauce and this pizza had an average amount, but the flavor of the sauce was something out of the ordinary. Like I’d generally always go for a white pizza (but often don’t cause that’s not my husbands preference) but after trying the sauce here, I think I’d actually choose sauce over white! I’m also one to generally leave behind the crust but there wasn’t a scrap on my plate since the dough was so tasty. The price was fair but I didn’t realize the pizza was on the smaller side and definitely would have ordered more. Two of us took down the whole pizza i
