Trattoria Ora

Ora is such a cozy neighborhood spot. The vibe is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed dinner. The food was excellent — loved the beet salad, the sautéed portobello mushrooms were full of flavor, and the steak was cooked perfectly. Everything felt thoughtful and comforting. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to.

Food was amazing!!!! The complementary eggplant was great with the bread!! Server was super nice and attentive. I don’t know why the restaurant was so empty because it was so good :)

Went in for dinner for two yesterday and this has become our new favorite date night spot. As soon as you walk in, you get greeted by the friendliest staff and owner. My boyfriend and I decided to both sit on the booth next to each other and the owner without even hesitation moved around the tables to make sure we're comfy! (don't worry, there were plenty of other seats around) Then we asked what their best thing on the menu, we were recommended the sirloin with onion & mushroom + penne rigatoni. My partner wanted medium rare but I had to get medium well so we decided to get medium well but to our surprise when the food came out they cooked the streak to two different temperature for us!!! I was so touched by this kind gesture and the extra step of hospitality they took to accomodate us.

Wow probably the best Italian restaurant in Astoria in terms of quality and portions. The fairest prices and the freshest food. Their minestrone soup is phenomenal, chicken franchese incredible, and they send all take out orders with bread (soooooo fresh and soft) as well as a little almond cookie! 10000/10

We had a lovely dinner here with my grandparents. Food was delicious , fresh and classic. They made anything we wanted off menu and the service was amazing. Highly recommend this little spot that’s been around for almost 10 years! They even split our dishes on plates bc we were sharing which was so nice!! Penne vodka amazing also the tiramisu!!!
