Trattoria La Tavola

The atmosphere here is great, it’s dimly lit but still enough light that you’re not sitting in darkness. Perfect for a date night or birthday dinner; also the drink menu is really fun for a girl dinner. They always have good specials, my dad got the halibut and my whole family was eating off his plate. If you get Michael as a waiter you’ll have a very good time! He pays great attention to his tables and he’s funny. We also got a free dessert for my dad’s birthday. It’s very good, I recommend!

Our first visit here was exceptional. We recently moved to KSQ and this restaurant was highly recommended. A wonderful atmosphere, a smiling waiter and exceptional food and service. The homemade limoncello was the perfect ending!!!

This is my second visit in two weeks. Wonderful meals and service both times. I had the arancini appetizer and the salmon and both were delicious. Neither was heavy and they tasted fresh.

I try and be very fair and honest. I understand when restaurants are very busy some dishes may fall short. My husband and I were the only ones in the restaurant besides one other table so there really is no excuses. All of our dishes seemed to be an after thought. Leftovers from the night before. The gravy on the rib eye was cold, the rest of the rib eye dish very amateur. I sent my pasta dish back only to have it redone and still be just as bad only cooked more, or probably microwaved a bit more. The waiter took my empty glass a wine with my pasta dish. I thought to give me a complimentary glass of wine while I waited. Nope, it was on the bill. The pricing is on the higher end so the meals should reflect those costs.

First time here and absolutely loved everything we ordered. App was a special Kennett Square stuffed mushrooms, for dinner I had a lobster, salmon, shrimp, and peas with linguine was a special, my husband had rigatoni with chicken, olives, shrimp, and capers, my son had Penne Alla Vodka.
