I used to come to Tralí more often when I lived closer big haven't been in years. Hibernian North Raleigh has always answered the call. Today I brought my family after a long time. I was a bit shocked that our experience was so "meh". Aside from my son's chicken tenders nobody was thrilled about their dinners. I saw that several people raved about the Chicken Welly and was excited to try it. Unfortunately it was very bland. My Gallway chowder was good but over in about 6 spoonfuls. For $6 they could've at least filled the small bowl. I didn't see a single piece of fish in there either but big pieces of potato and veggies. My wife's chicken sandwich looked terrible. I felt bad for her as this was her first meal back after a long business trip. I honestly don't know if we'll be back but the
We loved our visit! The hostess was so sweet and helpful. The server was great and we loved his charm and personality as well as his attentiveness. And the food was AMAZING. We tried scotch eggs, shepherd's pie, the rueben, and sticky toffee pudding. Everything was fabulous! Great place - highly recommend!
Wow! Everything was amazing! The lamb shanks and sticky toffee pudding were great. My sister loved the chicken welly.
Had scotch eggs and potato skins to start. Both were great. My half order of corned beef and cabbage was very good and more than enough for lunch. The wife had the pork chops ( normally not a lunch item but we got lucky on availability) that was superb. But her favorite was the crème brûlée doughnut. She is still talking about. Service was fast and Daniel was a great server. It’s almost an hour away from home but when the need for Irish hits, we know where to go
Been here twice for dinner and the food is really good. We got the half portions to try different dishes. Atmosphere is very cozy and perfect for date night or drinks! The first time I was here we had an older woman as a server and she made our experience a great one! She asked for the temperature of the salmon and burger and asked if we wanted glasses for our canned sours. The second time I was there we had another server and she did not ask the additional questions. My salmon was a bit overcooked and a little salty. Maybe because it was later in the night. Either way I would definitely come again. I definitely recommend the salmon, fish and chips, sticky toffee pudding and the Jameson Strawberry Mule!!
