Toudai Sushi & Fusion

I visited here a long time ago and it wasn't bad, but it wasn't memorable. THIS visit blew me away! The sushi was all incredibly tasty, and had fantastic texture. The server brought our random order out on a beautifully arranged platter, and was very attentive if we needed anything. Miso and seaweed salad were also excellent. The dining area was also comfortable and everything was clean. Price also felt good for the amount of food you get. I honestly can't think of a real negative! I'll try some of their non-sushi items next time =).

Came in on a Thursday, the staff was super helpful and provided fast service. Good atmosphere. The food was great the bulgogi udon was fantastic, lots of flavor. Other than that we got the vegetarian roll and the rock and roll and shrimp nigiri which were all great, very fresh tuna in the rock and roll. Overall great experience, will be back!

I visited this place because my friend told me their portions are huge, and they were absolutely right! The fact that they serve hwe dup bap (Korean-style sashimi rice bowl) already told me it’s run by Koreans. I ordered both the hwe dup bap and the roll special because everything looked so good. The rolls were a great deal—2 for $25.99—and to my surprise, each roll also came with 4 pieces of California roll as a promotion. The portions were so generous that I honestly wondered if it was real! The owner lady who served us was incredibly kind, and the miso soup was delicious as well. It’s been a while since I left a local sushi spot feeling this full and satisfied. Highly recommend! We visited this sushi place from Vancouver because we heard so many good things about it and it did NOT disappoint!! The owner is so kind and welcoming, and the fish is fresh even compared with the best Vancouver places. Get their special rolls!

Ngl we were originally trying to go to sushi blue but they were closed. SO glad we came here instead. Could tell the place was family run. Owner is a sweet Korean lady. Delicious food, amazing toppings. I could tell their food were made with love ❤️
