Touchdown Beer & Grill

Went in today after working in Atlantic. Wasn’t expecting much but I was absolutely impressed by the food! I got the ribeye steak as recommendation by the waiter and it hit the spot. The steak was so flavorful and juicy and the mashed potatoes were delicious super fluffy and creamy. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive! If I come back to town i will definitely stop by again!

I really liked this place. It was a wonderful find on my travels this time. I will definitely go back and eat at this place again! So many great options. Great for little plates to share and a delightful selection of appetizers! 😉

Not bad, not great. Nothing really sticks out to make it super memorable. Burger prices are a little high, $17 for a 4 oz burger is pretty steep. The app sampler (pictured) was a decent value despite being shorted 1 wing. Strange that the menu lists specific counts of appetizer items like 20 cheese balls or 10 jalapeño poppers (these were pretty good actually). The layout is very odd to say the least. They should have just followed how Pizza Hut had it originally. The long both along the wall makes it uncomfortable when 2 people sit on that side of the table. My backside was split on the crack and there was no way to avoid it. The 6 high tops in the middle make it very crowded and difficult to walk out without bumping into other guests.

What a great place! Found this gem while driving across Iowa. Great food and friendly service. I think it is the cleanest restaurant I've ever seen! My shrimp tacos were very tasty!
