I had a cute solo date at Totto Ramen tonight. Ramen, phenomenal. Vibe at the bar, high (playlist great & love view of kitchen). I got the miso ramen with pork, an extra egg and nori and it was perfection. Reading A Promise of Lies, love it!
Its simply the best ramen in Boston (forgot to picture it cause was very hungry lol), this time I tryied the fried pork gyoza and was amazing also. They always provide a respectful service and its comfy, good music around, clean and nice.
Horrible experience. Ordered the fried chicken ramen and the fried chicken. The total came out to be $27 per person for chicken that was old and chewy and pink from the inside. The picture was taken after we are done eating (which was one bite into everything) and left it. Please don’t go here might as well have something that’s worth
The service was great and the employees are respectful and helpful. Giving four stars overall because the ramen was just okay. The broth was good and the noodles were good, but other than that everything else was mid. We got beer, plum wine, a strawberry soda - all good. The pork belly bun was very heavy on the pork and a LOT of mayo inside a bun with a small piece of iceberg lettuce. We tried the paitan ramen, vegetable ramen, and the miso ramen. The raw white diced onion on top of all three bowls of ramen we tried was interesting. Every bite tasted heavily of raw onion. I would highly recommend ordering without the onion on top.
We went to AMC and decided to stop there because it was a nice looking spot on the outside, and we were craving for ramen, and what a great choice it was. We started with the takoyaki which was amazing, and you could feel it melt on the mouth, but keeping the taste. Then we went to the ramens, I had the signature one (forgot the name) and my wife had the curry one, both were delicious. Plenty of meat and noodles for a standard size, and I saw some people ordering the "mega" which is a lot. The place is just a few seats and the bar, fast service and good prices. I'm definitely coming back a few more times. Fuyo!!
