When I tell you the vibes, here are amazing. Just stepping in the energy is beautiful. The store has such a cute cozy setting. And the FOOD is amazing and fresh. my favorite dish is the Jerk chicken rice bowl but, you can’t go wrong with any of their food selections. i leave satisfied every visit.

I LOVE this place ❤️ I order from here alll the time using Uber Eats and the food is always fresh and flavorful 🤤🤤🤤 I definitely order a few times a month lol But with my last order, the driver had forgotten a portion of my order at the restaurant. He didn't go back to pick it so one of the employees was kind enough to go OUT OF HER WAY...and bring me the rest of my food. I even spoke to the owner and she was so kind and extremely helpful in helping me resolve this issue! I just don't have enough good things to say about this restaurant. If you're looking for some REALLY GOOD AND TASTEFUL AMD YUMMY-IN-YOUR-TUMMY food, then you really need to order from here or stop by and pick up something. Pleeeease! Everything is SO good and I promise you will NEVERRRRR be disappointed 🙋🏾‍♀️💕🤤

This place never miss! The ingredients are always fresh, and the build-your-own bowl option is my favorite because as a very picky eater I know I’m gonna love everything in my bowl every time. The staff is super welcoming, the restaurant is always clean, and the vibes are always right. One of the gems of Mount Vernon!

This was my first time coming in, and meeting the owner. Now, I am already MORE obsessed. They have a new expanded space and I had the pleasure of hearing her vision for the new expanded space. It genuinely inspired me. She’s creating a cozy, community‑centered nook that feels like one the best little café corners in Brooklyn — warm, intentional, and made for people to gather. The Yard sandwich has me in a chokehold. It’s so good it’s almost disrespectful. And as someone who only eats her momma’s homemade banana pudding, I have to admit…I actually love hers. That alone says everything about this place! And, the new addition with the books and the cozy seating is exactly the kind of space I can see myself in — posted up with my sandwich, unwinding, and enjoying the vibes. Fresh ingredien

It was my first time and the service was good. They were friendly and provided tips to make my meal enjoyable. I tried the jerk chicken bowl and got the oxtail salad for someone else. Both were good.
