Tortas Ahogadas El Tio

I’m from Guadalajara and moved this area a few months ago, since then I was looking for real tortas ahogadas and was loosing hope till I found Tortas Ahogadas El Tio that is an extraordinary place!! The torta ahogada is awesome, also loved the rest of the menu; enchiladas, tacos de barbacoa and gorditas was all really good! I highly recommend it, the restaurant is also beautiful, the tables, the chairs, the picture, all the environment is typical Guadalajara restaurant. Service is great and kind.

Totally recommend eating here! We came in today for the first time and had a great experience. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Michelle was incredibly kind and attentive, which made our visit even better. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Tonight we came to this beautiful restaurant , the atmosphere was great , clean restaurant and excellent service. We sat and ordered from the recommendation from Naim and was not disappointed. Everything we ate was great fresh and like a homemade feel to it. This is a great place to eat we can't wait to try it again.

Ok I'm not sure why we haven't tried this place sooner. I am super critical when it comes to restaurants, if I'm going to spend money it needs to be delicious, have good service and be a good value. I absolutely loved everything we ordered way above average expectations. Probably one of our new favorites. Service was great. Most importantly the food was excellent and the small attention to the details and extras elevated it above what our average expectations would be. Value was perfect. Went back for our second visit. Service was fabulous. Chips and salsa great. My daughter ordered the el pastor super burrito again and it didnt disappoint. I tried the carnitas and really didn't like it. My advice the birria or el pastor are much much better options.
